ES-KO built the Monaco Pavilion for the Universal Exhibition in Milan, dedicated to the theme "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life."
It was a prestigious 2015 assignment that combined innovative design, constructive efficiency, and a focus on sustainability—key elements of ES-KO’s design philosophy.
But the project did not end with the close of the Expo. In line with the principles of the circular economy and sustainable development, the pavilion was dismantled and relocated to Burkina Faso, where it was given new life as a multifunctional training centre for the Burkinabè Red Cross, serving the Sahel region.
This transformation is a practical demonstration of sustainability and circular economy principles—turning a temporary exhibition space into a permanent asset for education, humanitarian training, and community development.

Today, the facility serves as a fully operational training centre for first aid and professional development. It also hosts conferences, institutional events, and hospitality activities for international companies and organizations. The project stands as a concrete example of intelligent resource reuse and its long-term positive impact on a growing community.
By transforming a pavilion into a place of purpose, ES-KO has shown how design, sustainability, and commitment can come together to create something that truly lasts.
