The Foundation for Post Conflict Development (FPCD), a New York–based NGO founded in 2005, works to promote sustainable development and peace in post-conflict regions.

In 2016, FPCD entrusted ES-KO with the turnkey construction of a new Health Midwife Centre in Saint Louis Sur Mer, Haiti, as part of its commitment to improving maternal and child healthcare in the region.

ES-KO successfully delivered a 140 m² modern healthcare facility designed to address the community’s essential needs — from reproductive health and prenatal consultations to postnatal care, education, and training for women and children’s well-being.

The project included:

  • A welcoming waiting and multifunctional room, reception area, and storage space

  • A hospitalization ward equipped with accessible sanitary facilities

  • An ambulatory area with a dedicated toilet for people with disabilities

  • Supporting infrastructure, including a septic system, water tank, and electric pump, ensuring full operational autonomy

Completed on schedule and to the highest standards, the new Health Midwife Centre provides a safe, functional, and sustainable environment for healthcare professionals and local families.

Through this project, ES-KO and FPCD worked hand in hand to strengthen community health and empower women, creating a lasting impact and a tangible step toward a healthier, more resilient future in post-conflict Haiti.
